Behind the bubbles

Habitat Fest – Meet the Maker session

Meet Toby and Dianne, the passionate duo behind Rahona Valley. Their journey began with a dream of owning a property on the Mornington Peninsula, which led them to stumble upon a hidden vineyard in a secluded valley. From there, they embarked on a new adventure in the world of wine making. Starting as one of the smallest commercial vineyards in the area, they have since expanded production, taken on new vineyards, and built their own winery and sparkling production facility, right here in Dromana.

Harnessing the soil, the sun, the rain, the vines.
Each grape a promise, each barrel full of hopes and dreams,
Each bottle a testament to our mission…
A passion to craft sparkling joy from the earth, from the sky, and from the patience of time.
A vision to weave tradition with innovation,
and to bring a little of Champagne’s soul to the Mornington Peninsula.

Did you know it takes over 3 years to make a bottle of our sparkling wine? Discover the art and passion behind their world-class sparkling wines as you taste your way through the journey from grape to bottle to bubbles.

WHEN: 11am Saturday 2 November. Allow 45 minutes.

Tickets just $5 each.  BOOK NOW>

    Dromana Weekender 2026

Peninsula Live presents: Dromana Weekender Thursday 11 – Sunday 14 June 2026
    Dromana Habitat – Industrial Estate

Four days. Thirty-plus bands. One industrial estate you won’t recognise.

Peninsula Live’s Dromana Weekender transforms the Dromana Industrial Estate into a live music precinct across four days, with over 30 bands performing across more than 10 venues in a free, all-ages event. Music flows between warehouses, workshops and creative spaces in a walkable format that turns the precinct’s industrial character into something genuinely unexpected.

This is Peninsula music, Peninsula-made. The program celebrates the depth and diversity of what’s grown here, bringing local artists onto real stages in real spaces and inviting the community to discover the creative life quietly thriving in Dromana’s working heartland.
